Junior "Cigano" dos Santos Stops Gilbert "The Hurricane" Yvel

Bad Boy Fighter Junior dos Santos beat Gilbert Yvel in the first round of their fight at UFC 108 last Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Just prior to the end of the 2nd minute of action, Junior blocked a head kick from Gilbert and actually smiled as he moved in for a quick combination that ended with a left hook that rocked Gilbert, sending the MMA veteran to the ground. Junior was quick to follow through, chasing Gilbert to the mat and landing a barrage of punches and hammer-fists, which prompted referee Herb Dean to stop the fight at 2:07 of the first round.
