Athlete Team Coordinator
San Diego, California based alternative sports (Mixed Martial Arts) apparel brand has a position available for an Athlete Team Manager to oversee and execute all marketing activities related to our sponsored athletes. The objective of this position is to leverage our relationships with the existing sponsored athletes in order to increase brand exposure, enhance consumer impressions, and maximize retail sales. This is a full time position that requires the Athlete Team Manager to work from our downtown office and may require weekend travel. The position will report to the International Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sponsored Athlete Promotional Activation.
• Athlete Correspondence.
• Event Attendance. (Pro And Amateur)
• Athlete Product Sample Distribution/Inventory Management.
• Management Of Grass Roots Promotional Program.
• Research. (Athletes, Trends, Competition, Etc.)
• Management Of Athlete Web Page. (Assisting Web Webmaster)
• Management Of Athlete Contract Terms.
• Coordination Of Athlete Press Releases.
• Management Of Athlete Co-Branded Product.
• Some Product Development Assistance.
• Assist Marketing Manager In General Marketing Activities.
Necessary Skills & Experience:
• Bachelors Degree.
• Marketing, Promotion, Event Management and/or Advertising Experience Preferred.
• At Least 3 Years Relevant Experience. (Post Degree)
• MMA Knowledge/Experience A Must.
• Fight Training/Experience Big Benefit.
• General Action Sports Experience A Plus.
• Extremely Professional, Detailed & Organized.
• MS Office Skills (Word, Power Point, Excel, Etc), Design Software A Plus.

Website Developer
San Diego, California based alternative sports (Mixed Martial Arts) apparel brand is looking for an outstanding candidate to fill the newly created role of Website Developer. The Website Developer will oversee the E-Commerce department, specifically managing the new E-commerce platform to ensure the quality of content and functionality for all who interact with the website. This is a full time position that requires the Website Developer to work from our downtown San Diego office.
What We Need:
A highly dynamic and energetic individual, they will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and upkeep of the E-commerce platform in terms of functionality for both the end users and operations. They will have a good understanding of how E-commerce carts work. They will be a problem solver, an innovator, and will be in the front line of providing support to a busy marketing department. You will hit the ground running.
Qualifications & Experience
You will have a bachelor's degree, with excellent written skills and the ability to communicate in layman's terms to the directors, share holders and co workers. You will have a proven background in web design and software development within an E-commerce and commercial environment.
You will have a minimum of 2 years commercial experience designing websites, from graphics to user-interface design by developing scripts for all user functionality. This also includes being able to extract stored back-end data and convert into easily accessible files.
Responsibilities
• Ongoing website development.
• Maintain the site daily ensuring all copy, creative and coding is tested and uploaded.
• To build and maintain the company intranet.
• To provide technical support and advice to the marketing department and logistics.
Technical support for co-workers.
Skills
• A clear understanding of user-centred processes involved in the customer journey.
• Highly experienced with HTML, MYSQL Database, PHP, Web editor tools, photo imaging tools, FTP, CRM systems.
• Understanding and/or experience of general AJAX technologies - XHTML / Javascript / CSS
Understanding of Flash.
• You will have some knowledge of audio and visual streaming.
• You are able to work autonomously and unsupervised.
• Knowledge and experience of at least one of the following: Google Analytics, website analytics, affiliate marketing, organic SEO.
